If after ‘Speed’ you thought it was a good idea to put Sandra Bullock on a speeding boat, that our protagonist has to climb another tower for a pilgrim reason is even feasible. The original film’s director, Scott Mann, is already talking to Tea Shop Productions (his production company of his, obviously) about new ideas about it.
“We have a couple of ideas that we’re working on… We don’t want to make something that feels like a copy or worse than the first“, they have commented. It must be said that one of the reasons for the success of ‘Fall’ (especially when, in the United States, it was uploaded to streaming services) was the support that Stephen King gave himstating that he would have loved to write the script.
‘Fall’ was, within its smallness, a hilarious and terrifying movie, which hit the nail on the head and, within the absurdity of its proposal, achieved a couple of very successful turns. We’ll see if in its sequel we don’t experience the ‘Speed 2’ syndrome and It’s still a terrifyingly happy place to live.
