“This day is the one I have waited for the most since I was a child.”
Many couples consider their wedding day to be the most special day of their lives. This moment entails a considerable expense in the pockets of the bride and groom, so it is normal for them to look for that day to go perfectly. In TikTok a great debate has been exposed between whether or not to bring children to weddings, because to be honest many times these events are not suitable for minors. Similarly, since this topic came out, there has been a trend where brides or future brides share the rules they set for the guests, this with the aim that nothing ruins their day.
The implementation of a regulation for that day has become popular and increasingly more girlfriends follow this recommendation as it is a good way to ensure that fewer things go wrong on the special day. However, not many agree with this.
Valentine is a user of TikTok who decided to make a list of 7 rules for the wedding day. Unfortunately thanks to this she received more criticism than praise after she decided to put limits on her guests.
She, at 21 years old, is very clear about what she wants, so for her wedding in February she created a regulation for the big day. In this way, her guests will be aware of what could or could not be done during the event.
As a first rule, the bride expressly prohibited the presence of childrenwith the exception of the son he shares with his partner.
The reason was because the family of both parties is quite large, so adding children as guests would cost more than their budget. For this reason they decided to leave the little ones off the list.
The second was that alcohol would not be distributed until 5 in the afternoon. Her wedding started at 2 pm, but she wanted to prevent the guests from getting drunk too soon. In addition, she was also very clear thatCell phones would be prohibited during the ceremony. She even warned that if the big day saw one of the attendees being more focused on the phone than on the ceremony, she would interrupt everything.
As a fourth rule he asked that they will not take extra people. In the end, if the bride and groom wanted them to be there, they would have invited them themselves.
He later pointed out that he wanted attendees to be well dressed. Valentine confessed that she spent $3,000 on a professional photographer, so she expected her guests to dress up for the event.
the sixth was Don’t make big announcements: “If you announce that you are pregnant or propose marriage or announce that you are engaged, I will kick you out (…) I will literally kick you out. This is the only day I’ve been looking forward to since I was a little girl, it’s not about you. Leave it for another day”Valentine said.
Finally, Valentine established as a rule that no one post on your social networks wedding photos, until she and/or her boyfriend do it first.
