This summer cinema, a concept that we have loved since we discovered it in grease (although there is Drive-in movies like the ones we show you here), is named cinecycle and it will be available in September in various spaces in Madrid. The first film will be screened on September 9, princess of africa Juan Laguna, and can be enjoyed for free from 9pm, but yes, if you pedal.
The magic of this summer cinema is that the film is projected using the energy coming from the human force. It doesn’t mean that you’re going to spend two hours watching the movie, but rather that the attendees will pedal in turns to give enough power to this portable cinema projection system.
A cinema on pedals

The concept was born from Isabel Segura, a Forestry Engineer, and Carmelo López, a swimming and robotics teacher. Together they started this culturally, socially and technologically sustainable project that began to develop on a journey through Africa. With it they wanted to give access to anyone and anywhere in the world, to cinemahis passion.
