For a week the eyes of the world have been fixed on Qatar for hosting the Soccer World Cupwhich began last Sunday and will come to an end on December 18.
In addition to talking about soccer, these days there has also been a long talk about Qatari culture and traditions, as well as the great wealth of the nation, which led an Argentine television program to want to fully explore the palace of a Doha sheikh, who is the son of one of the most powerful men in that territory and who, in turn, is the manager of one of the eight stadiums where the World Cup is held.
In a 10-minute video, a reporter from the Todo Noticias network showed all the luxuries and comforts that this Qatari family has, such as the spectacular and expensive mirrors they have in the lobby area.
One of the mirrors, which cannot be carried by less than six people due to its weight, cost close to $70,000 dollars.
Next they showed a kind of room, which is the space in which the sheikh usually receives his guests and in which he has so many armchairs to accommodate up to 38 guests.
The room is completed by a spectacular rug, by several paintings and by a coffee table for each sofa.
The next room they showed is the one where the sheikh’s family gathers their guests to watch football matches. This space has various armchairs, a large rug, various pieces of furniture, and a television screen.
Although they did not show more spaces in the house, with these three rooms we can already get an idea of the dimensions of the exclusive and beautiful palace.
