On Friday, February 3, the fashion world dressed in mourning for the unfortunate death of the Basque designer Paco Rabannewho lost his life, at the age of 88, when he was inside his house in Ploudalmézeau, France.
In addition to being in the news due to his unfortunate departure, the father of the introduction of metal to fashion, also gave something to talk about because hours after his departure some unknown individuals entered to rob his residence.
The theft, which occurred in the early hours of Sunday, was reported by Télégramme and confirmed by the gendarmerie, which indicated that, so far, no people have been arrested for this painful incident.
“The robbery occurred at dawn on Sunday in Ploudalmézeau. The damage was minor and there were no arrests,” the authorities reported.
The issue of the robbery, in the residence located on the shores of the Porsguen beach, was also addressed by the mayor Marguerite Lamour, who regretted what happened in an interview she gave to the AFP news agency.
“The thieves thought there was a lot of valuables inside. (…) Whether it is Paco Rabanne or someone else, it is very shocking to go rob someone who has just died”, lamented the politician.
It turned out that the criminals, who entered the house after breaking a French window with a crowbar, did not take with them large amounts of money, but that the loot would have been really less, since Paco Rabanne was not very fond of luxuries and eccentricities. .
