A little less than three months to open the Liverpool Arena gates to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023, we are already getting to know the candidate songs (Spain is presented with Ea Ea by Blanca Paloma) and today, finally, we know the quartet of presenters who will take the stage.
They stand out among them Hannah Waddingham, an actress who has carved out an entire career in musicals and in recent years we have seen her as one of the protagonists of the excellent ‘Ted Lasso’. Next to her we will have another giant of the British television and classic Eurovision commentator, Graham Norton.
Julia Sanina and Alesha Dixon complete the team
As you can see, we are not repeating the trio scheme of last year (with Laura Pausini, Mika and Alessandro Cattelan) and we are going back to the format of four presenters that had prevailed for the last five years. Together with Waddingham and Norton, the Ukrainian singer Julia Sanina and the British presenter and singer Alesha Dixon complete the team.
The three women will be in charge presenting the two semifinals of Eurovision, which will be held on May 9 and 11. Yet the Grand finale, On Saturday May 13, Graham Norton will join the team to crown the best European song.
