The tone of this new Marvel Studios series is focused on comedy, but this does not mean that nods to its history in the comics are absent.
Writer Jessica Gao has revealed at the time that Dan Slott and Charles Soule at the helm of the title were the source of inspiration for the first season of She-Hulk: Lawyer of Heroes, especially the story of She-Hulk: Single and Green.
“To me, that’s the quintessential Jen. That’s, well, she’s the quintessential She-Hulk, actually I should say and I think early, there’s been so many iterations of Jen in the comics and she really started out a little bit shy, a little bit shy and as she went along more on the careers of Dan Slott and Charles Soule”.
What is Dan Slott’s stage with She-Hulk about?
In Dan Slott’s run as She-Hulk, we see Jennifer Walters lead a life of debauchery as she becomes She-Hulk, who gives Walters confidence, something that costs her both her departure from the Avengers, as well as be fired from your job.
Against this background, She-Hulk gets a new opportunity to emancipate herself with a new job at a prestigious law firm, but there is one condition for this, that her emerald side does not appear during her professional performance, and that it is Jennifer Walters who dominates to his “monster”.
Dan Slott himself reacted to the first four episodes of the series, and on his twitter account he praised the story of the Giant Emerald.

The series follows Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a 30-year-old single lawyer whose greatest desire is to succeed in her profession. But there is a “small” detail: she is related to Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), also known as the Incredible Hulk.
Now, she must juggle her career as an expert in superhuman legal cases and her own super-powered, seven-foot-tall version.
She-Hulk, series starring Tatiana Masnaly as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk, and this series will be joined by Tim Roth as Abomination, Jameela Jamil as Titania, Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, Benedict Wong as Wong and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / Hulk.
All nine episodes of She-Hulk are directed by Kat Coiro and Anu Valia, with Jessica Gao serving as head writer.
The first season of She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes is broadcast on the Disney + digital platform.
