After saying goodbye to ‘Late Motiv’ last December on Movistar Plus+, Andreu Buenafuente already has a date for his new television program. Of course, this time on platforms… and it’s not so new. HBO Max will premiere a new version of ‘No one knows anything’ on June 18.
It is, as they warn, an evolution of the format, which has been on the air since 2013 and in which Andreu Buenafuente and Berto Romero spend each week digressingimprovising, on different topics with a lot of humor based on vivécdotes, unlikely sections and interaction with the public.
Produced by El Terrat for HBO Max, It has not been specified too much what this evolution consists of beyond, I imagine, an aesthetic facelift to be more television. What it does seem is that they will maintain that triple format/window: program on SER, podcast and version for YouTube.
Samantha for all
What we do have is a first promo:
Andreu Buenafuente describes the project as follows:
“It’s as if you put thirty years of career in a frying pan and while it’s very hot, it gets smaller and smaller; and what remains, pure tasty reduction, is the NOBODY KNOWS ANYTHING. A format in which Berto Romero and myself act as chefs and cook a dish that we have invented, reduction of comic career”
“It is a protected space”, completes Berto Romero. «A kind of corral for two comedians, a cage to have fun, a small park for two older men. A weekly comedy ring, a humorous hand in hand. A dream, come on.”
Server has been watching the program on Youtube for a couple of years and of course they achieve very hilarious moments of humor. Of course, we will have to see how this translates to a television space without losing that touch of radio magic.
