We already smelled bad that we had no news about it and the negative forecast has come true. From Amazon Prime Video have confirmed the cancellation after a single season from ‘As We See It – Our Look’, the series about classmates with autism spectrum disorder who live in a sheltered flat.
Created by Jason Katims (‘Friday Night Lights’) Based on the Israeli original ‘On the Spectrum’, the eight-episode series starred Rick Glassman, Albert Rutecki, and Sue Ann Pien as the three roommates, with Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang and Joe Mantegna rounding out the main cast.
A series to live in
From Prime Video, as usual in these cases, they have not commented on the reasons (audiences?, not reaching an agreement…) for which the fiction has been cancelled. A somewhat painful cancellation considering that it is one of his best series of this 2022 and one of those fictions in which you would stay to live.
And it is that, although I admit that it was a bit topical in its plots, it was inevitable don’t fall in love with the characters in which they face difficulties both in their day to day life and in their aspirations, whether they are work, romantic or affectionate.
