The series The Terminal List starring Chris Pratt is very popular with viewers but not with specialized critics.
Since Amazon Prime Video premiere of The Terminal List (The final list) has been able to verify how it has received bad reviews since on a website like Rottentomatoes it only has a 43%, but that is in stark contrast to viewers’ ratings which are more than double that at 94. The author of the novels Jack Carr it gives more validity to people than to critics.
This is how he explains it in a recent interview, since he has said:
“The Terminal List reviews fit perfectly with everything I understand about the current culture and climate in America right now. It seems to have triggered quite a few of these critics. The 94 percent viewership rating, the viewership rating, makes it all worthwhile. We didn’t do it for the critics. We did it for those in the arena.”
“We made it for the soldier, sailor, airman, and Marine who traveled to Iraq and Afghanistan, so they could sit on the couch and say, Hey, these guys put in the effort. They strive to do something special and make a show that speaks to them. And that 95 percent rating lets me know we at least got close.” concluded Jack Carr.
Really the reviews are not important for streaming services and only take into account the viewings. So we only know if The Terminal List it is a success if Amazon Prime Video decides to renew the series for a second season. Something that Chris Pratt he has already revealed that he would be more than willing. Since he has enjoyed playing the former officer of the SEAL of the Marine james reece.
Admittedly, the series gets very exciting as the episodes go on, so it would be a shame if they didn’t make a second season of it. The Terminal List.
