What do we expect from The Super Mario Bros. Movie?
While working underground to repair a pipe, Brooklyn plumbers Mario and his brother Luigi are transported by a mysterious pipe and wander into a magical new world. But after being separated, Mario will embark on an epic adventure to find Luigi.
With the help of Toad, a resident of the Mushroom Kingdom, and some training from the Mushroom Kingdom’s ruler, Princess Peach, Mario will unleash his own power.
In the cast of voices Chris Pratt will play Mario, Anya Taylor-Joy will be Princess Peach, Jack Black will become Bowser, and Donkey Kong will be voiced by Seth Rogen.
From a script by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic, Matthew Fogel will direct this film produced by Illumination. This studio produced hits like Despicable Me, Minions, Sing, The Secret Life of Pets and The Grinch.
The Super Mario Bros. Movie will hit theaters on April 5, 2023.
