Internet sleuths have launched a crazy theory out of Doctor Strange 2 which suggests that Mickey Mouse doesn’t exist.
Without a doubt, the fan service was rewarded in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness by knowing Earth-838, a place where it is now ensured that Mickey Mouse does not exist.
This alternate Earth showed us a new version of the Illuminati, made up of Professor X, Karl Mordo, Captain Peggy Carter, Black Bolt, Maria Rambeau / Captain Marvel and Reed Richards. But perhaps the most striking revelation came off screen and indicates that Mickey Mouse does not exist on Earth-838.

Redditor /u/imaxwebber has shared a pretty solid theory about it.
imaxwebber theory transcript
“In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness in the Illuminati dimension, Walt Disney never created Mickey mouse.
In this variant dimension of Wanda’s children they are watching an old Disney cartoon of the character Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Oswald was one of the first popular characters Walt Disney created, but he lost the rights to the character so he had to create Mickey Mouse. He was thinking that in this dimension he never lost the rights to Oswald so the rabbit became the mascot of the Disney company instead of Mickey”.
Who is Oswald the Lucky Rabbit?
Oswald the Lucky Rabbit emerged in 1927 created by Walt Disney for Universal Studios, before the existence of Mickey Mouse. Unable to take this popular character with him when he founded his own studio, he led Walt Disney to create Mickey Mouse.
Among other post-Disney animators who took on the character stands out Walter Lantz, who also left the company to explore his own creations like Woody Woodpecker.
