We had been a long time without news about the now franchise ‘A quiet place’. After the surprising original feature film and its fantastic sequel released a couple of years ago in the midst of a pandemic, the people of Paramount Pictures have decided to continue its horror license with a third part and a spinoff Of which, at last, we have new details.
A luxury signing
As confirmed exclusively by the Deadline medium, Lupita Nyong’owhich is about to release ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’, is in the last phase of negotiation for star in ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’. This, for practical purposes, means that the signing is practically guaranteed in the absence of profiling some other contractual detail.
Last January we learned that ‘Day One’ will feature Michael Sarnoski, responsible for the remarkable ‘Pig’ starring Nicolas Cage, taking over the director’s seat after Jeff Nichols left the project at the end of October 2021. Where the story will lead, to this day, remains a mystery, although it is expected to serve as the basis for a potential universe in which to set new titles.
Also, at Paramount they are also developing a third part that will once again have John Krasinski at the helm and that it should be released throughout 2025. Before its release we will be able to get our hands on ‘A Quiet Place: Day One’, whose arrival in our theaters is currently set at March 8, 2024.
