The Daily Mail newspaper shared a couple of photos, as well as a video of Colin Farrell characterized as Oswald Cobblepott / Penguin, on the first day of filming for the series that will arrive through the HBO Max platform.

In an interview with Variety, Colin Farrell confirmed that the first season of Penguin will consist of eight episodes.
“It’s going to be an eight part thing… Around Oz’s rise to power, filling that power vacuum created when Falcone was killed”.
This series continues to add characters, and actor Clancy Brown will play Salvatore Maroni, one of Gotham’s most dangerous crime bosses.
There is also talk of a Robert Pattinson cameo as Batman, although this has not yet been defined. Taking into account that The Batman Part II is still in the pre-production stage.
The Penguin will arrive at some point in 2024, through the HBO Max platform.
