A few days ago we told you about the first rabbit that had been detected in ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power’. Then it was an elf ear that was at fault, but now it has been detected another big blunder which shows that the Amazon Prime Video series, in addition to money, also needed time.
repeated people
The failure in question has happened in ‘Separations’, the fifth episode of the series based on Tolkien’s work. At a certain point we see Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi) addressing the people of the Southlands and you have to look at those people, as there are several that appear duplicated and even tripled.
The only reasonable reason to think that something like this happened is that the team responsible for the visual effects did not have enough time to draw the necessary crowd at the time, so they just chose to reuse some people and some viewers have already hunted the bug.
In the image above you can see some of the obvious repetitions -look at the color of each circle to better identify those that appear on more than one occasion-. Let’s hope it’s not the tonic in scenes with large crowdsalthough, to be fair, the one that concerns us now was not essential either and perhaps they had no choice but to prioritize some more important ones in the series.
