The mythology of The Lord of the Rings now returns with force to digital platforms with the first season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, a series whose first episode began to establish historical records.

The Amazon Prime Video platform reported that in the first 24 hours of being online, the first chapter of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power reached 25 million views, worldwide

This figure is higher than The House of Dragon, which in its first episode achieved 10 million views. Although this series, in addition to being on digital platforms, is broadcast on cable television.
