These crispy oven-baked minced meat bombs are a great appetizer that everyone loves. In addition, one or two delicious balls are enough to be satisfied, since, under the bacon covered with barbecue sauce, they hide a layer of onion, minced meat and a taquito of cheddar cheese. They are eaten in two bites and are always a very pleasant surprise, especially for those who have never tried them. Not to mention that making them is a very entertaining task.
First, we prepare the minced meat seasoning to taste with salt and pepper, aromatic herbs and the spices that we like the most. Then, let it rest for a few minutes and form balls as if they were meatballs.
Cut the cheddar cheese into small cubes and hide a cube inside each meatball. Cut the onions in half and remove the layers so that we obtain a kind of shell with which to wrap each meatball of minced meat stuffed with cheese.

Wrap each bomb filled with minced meat with two slices of bacon and place them in a baking dish. We varnish with barbecue sauce and Bake them at 200ºC for 15 minutes.turning the spheres every five minutes so that they cook evenly.
The crispy minced meat bombs are served with some tomatoes cut into wedges, to refresh. Taking into account that it is an appetizer dish, we calculate one or two pumps per person.
