One year after the end of Lucifer, the producers of the series share what, in their opinion, are the most important moments of the series
Lucifer’s story came to an end in 2021, and just over a year after the Prince of Darkness reached the end of his road, producers Joe Henderson and Ildy Modrovich reveal what they consider the best moments of the plot.
Do not miss: Tom Ellis did this exercise routine for Lucifer
The series is based on the characters we saw for the first time in The Sandman story, leading Lucifer Morningstar as a detective from the city of Los Angeles, who must overcome his infernal plots by fighting crime.
From the appearance of guests like Tom Welling to the revelation that Lucifer was the father of a teenage girl, the series has great moments. Joe Henderson remembers what his favorite moment was.
“Lucifer protecting Chloe with his wings at the end of Season 3. One, I was happy to have that in my episode, but it was also something that we had been building on, so the whole room was always pitching towards this beautiful, iconic moment.”.
The producer recalled what happened when filming that scene with Tom Ellis.
“I was with Tom on set while he was rendering the inside of the wings, and I remember, he’s going through it and he’s playing stoic, and I remember him being like, “What do you think?” and I was like, “Tom, show us how much this hurts.” I saw him immediately sell that and it broke my heart, I was like, “Oh my gosh, I feel like I’m hurting him right now… That felt so iconic, and it felt like the kind of moment that would make Fox never able to cancel us, at all, no matter what”
love floats in hell
While the producer Ildy Modrovich recalled one of the scenes from the second episode of the fourth season, where Lucifer manages to protect Chloe from an ax attack.
“I’m a sucker for romance, and there were so many moments on the show that I love and am proud of, but the one that I personally forced was the ax scene. [Risas] I’m really proud of that moment, I think it’s a beautiful romantic moment between Chloe and Lucifer”
Lucifer stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer Morningstar, Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, Rachael Harris as Dr. Linda Martin, Kevin Alejandro as Det. Dan Espinoza, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen Smith, and Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez.
All six seasons of Lucifer are available on the world’s most recognized streaming platform.
