The controversy with Patricia Conde continues. After modifying the post several times about his departure from ‘Masterchef Celebrity’, the producer of the reality has spoken and has threatened to take legal action if the former contestant does not rectify her accusations.
“I can’t with the lies”
Patricia Conde, finalist of season 7 of ‘Masterchef Celebrity’, published a post on her Instagram account in which made serious accusations about the program. Conde edited the publication several times (in the current one, the most controversial ones do not appear) and its different versions have given a lot of talk on networks.
Among some of the accusations, the presenter and actress pointed out the pressure she was subjected to during the final, that two of her classmates used drugs “every day” and the manipulation behind reality:
I was talking about the danger of the networks, not about mental health. What I’m suggesting is that you hire a psychologist for the program to explain to us the reason for things. Like ‘you’re not crazy, the oven has been turned off’, for example.
Shine Iberia, producer of ‘Masterchef’, denied Conde’s accusations and responded by sending him a statement specifying that, not to “rectify and apologize”the company would take legal action against her as a crime of “attack against honor”.
On this case, no former contestant from season 7 has positioned himself on Conde’s side and the members of the jury have not wanted to get into the controversy either. When they asked Jordi Cruz about the matter, about which Conde said that he “only says what they send him to say because of the earpiece”, he limited himself to answering: “I have not seen the controversy, I have seen a verdict”.
