Netflix’s TUDUM continues to give us something to talk about and among the multiple announcements (‘The problem of the three bodies’), release dates (‘1899’) and trailers (‘Emily in Paris’) that we have been able to see find the first breakthrough of the announced spin-off of ‘The Bridgertons’ centered on the rise of Queen Charlotte (Charlotte) from England.
Thus, in the absence of a trailer, we already have a first preview of the limited series entitled ‘Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story‘ (“Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story”). In it we see the young woman meeting King George… well, it’s basically the starting point of this whole prequel.
When Jorge met Carlota
India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest they are in charge of representing these young Carlota and Jorge; while Golda Rosheuvel will continue to embody his character from the mother series. Next to her we will have Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Danbury and Arsema Thomas like his younger version.
The distribution is completed with Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgertone michelle fairley like Princess Augusta, Sam Clemmett and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley as a young man and an adult respectively, Freddie Dennis like Reynolds, Richard Cunningham as Lord Bute tunji kasim like Adolphus, rob maloney like the royal doctor and Cyril Niri as Lord Danbury
This time it is the same Shonda Rhimes the head of the series as showrunner and writer. Tom Verica directs the eight episodes that make up this miniseries, which will reach Netflix in 2023 and it looks like it will satiate our hunger a bit before season 3 of the main series arrives.
