This year we’re having content galore for fans of Detective Conan‘ and Netflix isn’t resting on its laurels. Although this summer the new film of the franchise was already released in theaters and arrived on the streaming platform ‘Zero’s Tea Time’, a new detective spin-off will soon join the grill of autumn releases.
The culprit as protagonist
‘Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa’ adapts the manga of the same name, which puts a slightly more absurd humorous spin on the mysteries of ‘Detective Conan’. In this case, the protagonist becomes the black silhouette which is used to represent the mysterious criminal responsible for the crimes that Conan Edogawa solves.

As announced at the time, the anime of ‘Detective Conan: The Culprit Hanzawa’ will begin airing in Japan on October 3, bringing the simulcast on Netflix can be seen worldwide from next October 4.
Akirato Dichi directs the anime for TMS Entertainment, as Fu Chisaka in charge of character design and mayumi nakajima as art director at Studio Cocolo. Leon Nihama will perform the anime’s opening theme song, while Mai Kuraki will perform the ending credits song.
