American actress, singer and model courtney stodden heavily criticized the film “Blonde” -starred by Anne of Arms and recently released on the platform of streaming Netflix-, promoting that people do not see it because it portrays an image of Marilyn Monroe which, for her, is false.
In an interview to Page Six Stodden, 28, was very clear about her stance on the film: “I urge people not to watch it, because that’s not Marilyn Monroe, that’s not her story. It’s a work of fiction and it is to make it something that it was not. She never wanted to be the girl they are portraying there. Please don’t watch it.”
For several years, Courtney has shown herself to be a big fan of Monroe, to the point that she got her face tattooed on her ankle. When asked if she had ever contacted the Hollywood star through a medium, she replied: “Reflecting the exploitation and disrespect towards the dead, and Marilyn in particular, she would never do it. Marilyn Monroe deserves to be at peace.”
