HBO has just given us a good surprise with the arrival of November, since it has finally revealed the release date of the television adaptation of ‘The Last of Us’ and it is much sooner than we expected: the January 15, 2023.
Everything suggested that ‘The Last of Us’ could easily go to the summer of next year, since the only thing that HBO had announced is that we could see it in 2023. Therefore, the surprise has been capital when both on its website and on the from HBO Max the date has appeared by surprise of January 15.
Starring Peter Pascal (‘The Mandalorian’) and Bella Ramsey (‘Game of Thrones’), ‘The Last of Us’ adapts the video game of naughty dog First released in 2013 that takes us to a post-apocalyptic world after seeing how a global pandemic devastated practically everything. There we will follow the journey of Joel (Pascal) and Ellie (Ramsay) to reach their destination and how they will have to deal with a multitude of infected along their way.
Behind the series we have Craig Mazinhead of the excellent ‘Chernobyl’, and Neil Druckman, writer and co-director of the original video game. Everything indicates that it will be one of the great bombings of the coming year and on top of that, it will take very little time to be able to verify it.
