Lately ‘Saint Seiya’ has returned with some renewed force, especially with the second season of the new anime that recounts the beginnings of the Bronze Knights. Despite the fact that the changes in the tone and the CGI animation did not go down very well with some fans, the series has remained there and it seems that the new chapters have already been getting closer to the original material.
Now, it is not the only new recent adaptation of the manga of Masami Kurumadasince in 2023 we will also have a live action movie direct from Hollywood.

The first trailer for ‘Knights of the Zodiac‘, with a first look at Seiya, Saori and several other characters. Part of the story has already been advanced to us, and although the five leading knights remain to be seen, we have also been able to catch a quick glimpse of the gold armor during the action scenes.
Now, we must take these first images with tweezers and wait to see what the plot holds for us. Because unfortunately Hollywood doesn’t have the best track record adapting anime to live action and watching the trailer it is inevitable to remember the disaster which was at the time ‘Dragonball Evolution’.
Many fans have already begun to criticize the images, comparing them to ‘X-Men’, ‘Avengers’ or a generic superhero movie, so that was what the studio was trying to achieve, the result turned out well… But we’ll see if they finally manage to reflect well the spirit of ‘Saint Seiya’.
The release date has not yet been finalized, butKnights of the Zodiac’ It will be released sometime during 2023. Mackenyu Aratawho plays Zoro in Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ series, will be Seiya, with madison iseman like Athena, Sean Bean with Alman Kiddo and Diego Tinoco as Ikki. The cast also includes Framke Jansee, Nick Stahl, and Mark Dacascos.
