On June 1, the Jurassic World: Dominion film was released, so many of the fans of the Jurassic Park saga decided to re-watch the films that were released in previous years. The stories feature cloned dinosaurs, created by a billionaire philanthropist and a team of genetic scientists.
All of them, like most movies, have a series of cinematographic errors that have been revealed over the years. However, no one had noticed a mistake a fan discovered after watching the original Jurassic Park movie for 11 consecutive times, which was revealed 27 years after its release.
What is the mistake?
The young man decided to share his discovery on his Reddit account, which went viral on social networks. In the publication he explains that the scene in which a dinosaur opens the door to enter the kitchen and remains standing there, it is observed how a member of the production, specifically an operator, reaches out to grab the tail of the specimen.
Considering that the film was filmed with a combination of CGI (computer generated imagery) and dolls controlled by operators, a new technology for the time, it is not surprising that some detail like that went unnoticed. So much so, that the error remained hidden for almost 30 years.
It’s not the only mistake
According to the information published by the IMDb portal, there are more than 341 errors of this style in the film released in 1993, which became an overwhelming success in the world, becoming one of the most acclaimed in the recent history of cinema. Even so, the sequence that the fan has uncovered provoked millions of reactions internationally.
“I have seen this movie so many times growing up and even today if it is on television, and I never realized this mistake” or “Now I can not stop watching it every time I watch the scene”, were some of the comments most popular by users.
