This one has a 400 piece collectionranging from whale sexual organs in Plexiglas tubes to animal genitalia, such as raccoons, in formalin.
Even within their gallery they have the record of all the forms of the genitals of the Iceland basketball team who won the silver medal at the Beijing Olympics.
The piece of the famous guitarist is a work of the American artist Cynthia Albritonwho is known for dedicating herself to making plaster casts of male organs of rock stars and famous breasts.
This mold has a certificate of authenticity, it describes that it is a replica of a 1968 original made in latex two years before the artist’s death, author of songs like “Foxy Lady” and “Hey Joe”, who died of an overdose at the age of 27.
This mold was purchased by chancesince an American couple visited the museum and they were neighbors of the artist and told her about the Faloteca.
Cynthia with a friend in February 1968, followed Hendrix during his time in Chicago and at the Conrad Chicago Hotel they convinced him to make the model.
It is one of eight replicas the artist made of Hendrix’s phallus, two years before his death in 1970.
