The new anime of ‘urusei yatsura‘ kicked off last fall season and we still have more than half a series to go. As with many animes, the broadcast will be divided into several batches of chapters, and right now the next part of the story begins with even more characters.

‘Urusei Yatsura’ It begins just as an alien race known as the Oni invade Earth. A teenager named Ataru Moroboshi is selected to duel against the princess light for the future of the planet, and finally Ataru manages to win… Although due to a misunderstanding, Lum ends up falling in love with him and believes that they are engaged. So while Earth isn’t technically invaded, Lum does mercilessly invade Ataru’s life.
The classic manga of Rumiko Takahashi It already had an anime adaptation in the 80s, but the new series points to a more faithful adaptation to the original material, and also much shorter. Takahiro Kameidirector of ‘JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind’, is in charge of the anime for David Production.
The second part of the anime starts today, January 5, 2023with a new chapter that can be seen through HIDIVE. The trailer is already in charge of introducing us to several of the new characters that we will meet in the following arcs, which will feature Aoki Yuki as haveAyahi Takagaki as ryunosukeand Shigeru Chiba as Ryunosuke’s father.
And of course, a new opening is also released whose main theme can be heard in the trailer: ‘Aiwanamchu feat. asmiSurii’, performed by MAISONdes.
