Reimagining icons and shaping new ones
Now, 35 years after the premiere of the film, the novel that gave rise to one of the great phenomena of 80s horror film is about to be released a new adaptation directed by David Bruckner that, in addition to promising greater fidelity to Baker’s writing, brings an —absurd— controversy under his arm related to the sex of the interpreter who will give life to the iconic Pinhead.

But this is not all, because this contact with the new ‘Hellraiser’ has left us a snapshot of one of the new Cenobites that will come to our screens. It’s called “The Masque,” and in addition to being one of the director’s favorite creatures, which he labels “a foretaste of what is to come as far as the Cenobites are concerned”.
Described by David Bruckner as “the story of a young woman struggling with addiction and compulsive behaviors who accidentally comes into contact with the box and unfortunately starts playing with it until all hell breaks loose”‘Hellraiser’ Coming to Hulu with a beautiful R rating on October 7.
