Flash, Supergirl and Batman share a scene in the new posters of The Flash, a film that anticipates a clash of worlds in the DC Universe
In The Flash there will be drastic changes in the past, present and future of the DC Universe when two worlds collide, and two new posters anticipate this clash of Worlds.
Within the framework of CinemaCon, Warner Bros. and DC Comics presented a couple of promotional posters with more aspects of what both Flash and Supergirl and the version of Batman that we know from Earth-789 look like.
Worlds collide in The Flash when Barry uses his superpowers to travel through time and change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry is trapped in a reality where General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no superheroes to turn to.
That is, unless Barry can bring a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… even if it’s not the one he’s looking for.
Ultimately, to save the world he finds himself in and return to the future he knows, Barry’s only hope is to run for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to restart the universe?
With the script by Christina Hodson, The Flash will be directed by Argentine filmmaker Andrés Muschetti and will have Ezra Miller in the role of Barry Allen / Flash, Sasha Calle as Supergirl, Maribel Verdú as Nora Allen and Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.
The Flash will feature performances by Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck, both as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
The Flash will hit theaters on June 16, 2023.
