The 28th annual Critics’ Choice Awards brought together some of Hollywood’s biggest stars. Kate Hudson, Michelle Williams, Julia Roberts and Janelle Monae turned heads on the red carpet, opting for shimmering gold and black gowns at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Kate dazzled in a shimmering sheer gown, Michelle opted for a striking one-shoulder gown, Julia chose a black gown with gold accents, and Janelle wore a sheer black gown.
Kate looked amazing in a sheer light gold halter gown, with cut-out details along the torso and a plunge back that showed off her toned back.
Hudson, 43, dazzled in the halter dress with gold thread details; the dress had a cutout element down the center, with a large floral accent.
The mom of three showed off her flat stomach and cleavage in the glamorous piece, which featured a mermaid-style tulle skirt. Plus, she accessorized her outfit with statement diamond earrings, a bracelet, and a ring for even more sparkle.
Julia, 55, chose a long-sleeved black dress with gold and rose gold accents along the neckline and sleeves; the legendary actress styled her red locks in waves.
Michelle Williams, 42, donned a one-shoulder dress in a striking gold hue. The actress, who welcomed her third child last fall, added a gold and diamond necklace and diamond ring for added sparkle.
Janelle wore a completely see-through black dress, which also featured cutout details along her hips. The actress and singer showed off her incredible figure in the tight see-through piece that she also had ruching along her skirt.
Lily James wowed in a nude and black strapless dress that had a voluminous sheer skirt. The gorgeous actress’ dress featured black stripes all over with a large bow at the waist.
