In what we await, some with more eagerness than others, the 5th and final season of ‘Stranger Things’ (filming will begin this May), the Duffer brothers had up their sleeve a prequel which will surely arrive before the new episodes of the Netflix series.
The platform has revealed the first details of ‘Stranger Things: The First Shadow‘ which, for the moment, we will not be able to see in our homes. And this is the play that those responsible for fantastic fiction had been planning for some time.
With a release date scheduled for this year, it will be the Phoenix Theater in London’s West End the one in charge of hosting the production of ‘The First Shadow’, which has an original story created by the Duffer brothers, Jack Thorne and Kate Trefry, being this one in charge of writing it. Stephen Dalrdry and Justin Martin will direct.
The young Vecna
The plot will take us back a few decades before the start of ‘Stranger Things’ specifically we will land in Hawkins in 1959 with young Jim Hopper and Joyce Maldonado hanging around. The work starts with the arrival in town of a new student named Henry Creel who, along with his family, has been trying to start a new life, but the shadows of his past are long.
Indeed, it is that Henry Creel, Vecna himself whose past we have already been able to see little by little during season 4, where he was played by Jamie Campbell Bower in his adult version and Raphael Luce in the children’s version.
