It was through a publication on Twitter by the Mexican Ministry of Culture and on the official account of his nephew Emiliano Becerril that this information was released.
“My dear and adored uncle Nando, Fernando Becerril Straffon, a great actor who is leaving, passed away”wrote the relative of the renowned actor on his Twitter account.
In addition, the National Association of Actors (ANDA) shared a statement lamenting the death of the famous actor who was part of the union.
He was part of various film and television productions, including films such as “You owe it to me”, “Divine punishment” and “Life in silence” and in television programs such as “Los envoys”, “A strange enemy” and ” The wolf”.

So far his family and close friends have not detailed the reason for his death, however, They have remembered the moments they shared with him, during his time on stage and accompanied by his family.
Becerril obtained a scholarship to study in France, which allowed him to spend more than 20 years of his life working in the country within the world of theater acting.
Later he decided to return to Mexico to appear in various theater productions since 1997, including “12 Hombres en Pugna”, “El Rey Lear”, “La Vida es un Sueño” and more.
