This season is full of good news for fans of ‘Shaman King’! We already know that the anime series has not yet fully come to an end and there will be a sequel manga adaptation, and to catch up this month the last chapters arrive on Netflix.
A not so close ending
Since the anime remake of ‘shaman-king‘ last year, it has been released on Netflix in small batches of several chapters. So far there are 38 chapters available on the platform of the 52 total that the anime consists of.
The series ended in April in Japan, and this May 26 The last batch of episodes is finally released on Netflix with which we can see the conclusion of the series. As if there were already few nerves with this final stretch, Netflix has also released a new trailer for these new chapters to raise our expectations.
It remains to be seen how the new series finishes putting the finishing touch to the story, taking into account that the sequel anime has been confirmed. Not many details about the new series have been confirmed, but it will focus on HanaYoh and Anna’s son, so he most likely starts by adapting ‘Shaman King: Flowers’.
Which leaves us with the other good news that it has finally been confirmed that ‘Shaman King: The Superstar’ finally comes out of hiatus next June 17 in Shounen Magazine Edge.

This manga series is the second sequel series and had been on hiatus for quite some time, so it’s definitely good news for the new anime. We still have to see how many chapters the sequel to ‘Shaman King’ will have (and when it will be released), but if Hiroyuki TakeIf it is already warming up to continue working on the story, it is possible that we also have many plots ahead of us to adapt.
