August has started with a good joy for the fans of Rumiko Takahashi and for those who have been waiting forever the final arc of ‘InuYasha’since the anime will finally arrive in Spain with a good flash of nostalgia.
The perfect opportunity to see the series finale
Select Vision has come loaded with news this summer, between the surprise of seeing ‘Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0’ in theaters, and also with the license of ‘Inuyasha: The Final Act’. The original anime series aired in Japan between 2000 and 2004, and its 167 episodes remained a relative cliffhanger that did not finish the story because the publication of the manga had not yet finished.
So in 2009 ‘InuYasha: The Final Act’ was released, a series of 26 episodes that returned to have the creative team of the original anime and that would adapt the last volumes of the manga to tell the end of the story. Although the first series was broadcast in Spain on various regional networks, ‘The Final Act’ could only be seen in Catalan when it was broadcast in 2010.
As confirmed by Selecta Visión, in addition to this dubbing in Catalan, it will also perform the first dubbing in Spanish of ‘InuYasha: The Final Act’ and the dubbing actors of the first series will be recounted.
We have to wait a little longer to see what this physical edition of the anime will be like, and to finalize its launch. Of course, if when it arrives you are left wanting more ‘Inuyasha’we always have ‘Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon’, its official sequel starring a new generation of adventurers.
