Gastronomy:
The unique flavors of Las Brasas de la Castellana, located at Rosewood Villa Magna in Madrid, will make their debut in the Riviera Maya. Guests will be able to be part of the A Taste of Madrid experience and delight in its traditional Spanish cuisine menu created by chef Francisco Sanabria based on seasonal products, fresh ingredients and seafood. Regarding the desserts, they will be the great and unforgettable end of each evening, since the delights of Flor y Nata, the sweet space of this hotel in the center of Madrid, will also be transported to Rosewood Mayakoba.
The A Taste of Madrid experience will be presented at the Casa del Lado restaurant and will be available from June 15 until the end of the summer.
Additionally, guests will have at their disposal a curated outdoor dining program such as barbecues on the beach, Yucatecan-inspired dinners or; the seafood market with the freshest preparations. Zapote Bar, the hotel’s cocktail space, will also present a selection of invited bartenders on its already traditional Local Tuesdays, as well as fun Hatz & Spritz nights in which attendees are invited to wear a hat and enjoy an extensive menu of spritz.

Rosewood Explorers, the hotel’s children’s space will be unforgettable for the little ones, as they will be able to enjoy exciting activities such as ecological boat tours through the hotel’s lagoons, alebrijes workshop, cooking classes or movies on the beach, among others. Also, the hotel has children’s menus, babysitting service, bicycles, and special amenities for babies such as bathtubs, monitors, and cribs.
In the case of adolescent guests, they will also find recreational activities such as archery, basketball, chess, badminton, bicycle tours, water sports and even a video game center, as well as billiards, ping pong or sushi classes.
Adults are not left out, as they will also enjoy unique experiences. The new speakeasy bar, La Isla Secreta, hidden on a private island, will surprise you with its mystical atmosphere and its menu of Mexican spirits and craft cocktails.
Once a month the beach of Aquí Me Quedo will be the ideal place to spend a night under the full moon with the Full Moon Party that presents DJ music, cocktails, wines, and beer. During the day, mixology or taco classes will be the best time to learn something new and enjoy authentic Mexican flavors.

In addition to an extensive menu of treatments inspired by Mayan wisdom, Sense, A Rosewood Spa will feature holistic wellness activities that include experiences such as herbalist workshops, breathing workshops, sound therapies, yoga classes, Pilates classes, and guided meditations. For those who wish to go even deeper, the hotel’s Wellness Suites are secluded havens of rest that offer stays completely oriented towards well-being.
Taking care of the reefs:
To raise awareness about the importance that reefs have in the balance of the seas, each year Mayakoba invites its guests to participate in different actions during its Reef Week. From July 3-9, everyone can join the biologists on a snorkel expedition to the reef near the resort to observe coral planting, learn about reef restoration with talks and demonstrations by expert biologists, and color some of the the bases that will be the home of the new corals.
The Rosewood Mayakoba experiences are completed with activities that the hotel offers for the entertainment of all family members, such as its water sports center that has diving, snorkeling, jet skis, among others.
But that’s not all, since Mayakoba confirmed the exclusive presentation of the singer Alejandro Fernández, who will give an intimate concert inside the complex on August 19. Guests will have access to preferred seating and promotional room rates to enjoy this event.
