Without further ado, we present to you the best moments of episode 8 of She-Hulk, which is now available on digital platforms.
Leap-Frog, the hero the MCU needs
The actions of the eighth episode finally introduce us to LeapFrog. An aspiring hero who, while trying to stop some thieves, has problems with his suit, so he decides to sue Lucas Jacobson, the hero dressmaker who also works with She-Hulk.
With a serious conflict of interest, and given GLK/H’s refusal to reject the case, Walters seeks to reach a prior agreement with Jacobson, which does not work, so the case goes to court.
Matt Murdock walks into court
With Jennifer Walters defending Eugene Patilio, Luke Jacobson had an ace up his sleeve and from Hell’s Kitchen he brought in one of the best lawyers in the Marvel Universe, Matt Murdock.
With strong arguments and strong evidence against Patilio, Murdock manages to have the case dismissed by the judge, which causes She-Hulk’s anger with her client, who was the only one guilty of negligence.
The best of two worlds
Already in the bar that Walters frequents, Murdock tries to smoke the pipe of peace, and his intuition makes him see that Jennifer Walters and She-Hulk can become a true heroine who can litigate and if justice does not come, She-Hulk can help the disadvantaged.
“I think you’re in a unique position to do something really good.… From my point of view, Jen Walters can use the law when society fails. And She-Hulk can help people when the law fails”.
Daredevil vs. She-Hulk
Eugene Patilio executes a desperate plan and asks She-Hulk to help him, but he did not know that this would lead him to come face to face with Daredevil, who officially debuts in the MCU with his yellow suit, one of the most anticipated moments.
After an interesting battle, She-Hulk finds out that Matt Murdock is Daredevil, and that Leap Frog kidnapped Luke Jacobson, so they both decide to rescue him.
The Man Without Fear experience
Arriving at the place where Patilio is holding Jacobson, Daredevil shares his great experience fighting criminals, and gives She-Hulk several tips on rescuing victims.
From the difference between henchmen (those who believe in the villain’s cause) and mercenaries (those who join the villain in expectation of payment), She-Hulk begins to learn from Daredevil’s experience as a Defender.
A team like no other
Finally, there is the union between Daredevil and She-Hulk to dismantle the plans and organization of Patilio, who seeks to escape from the situation, one of the best moments of the episode.
Daredevil also finds time to not only take down Patilio’s henchmen, but also shares legal advice with Walters, who hints that he will once again defend Patilio in court.
There are thanks to thanks
Jennifer Walters thanks Daredevil for all the help and advice he gave her both as a hero and as a lawyer.
That is why that tension disappears between the two to take that gratitude to the next level, when She-Hulk and Daredevil spend the night together
The three possible scenarios
Walters resumes the course of the plot and remembers that she has the best lawyer of the year award gala, to which She-Hulk begins to suspect that an organization is after her tracks or the possible appearance of Red Hulk.
Although Nikki offers us the third possible scenario, imitating Wolverine, a mutant who will return to action in Deadpool 3. Will the mutants finally appear in the MCU?
Tribute to Carrie
With the award ceremony in tow, Intelligence attacks the ceremony, revealing the contents of Jennifer Walters’s cell phone, who cannot avoid feeling an unbridled anger that leads her to destroy the giant screen of the place, which terrifies the attendees.
If you are a lover of the horror genre, you will have noticed the great tribute to the film Carrie, directed by Brian de Palma, based on the book by Steven King, which has become a horror classic.
She-Hulk follows Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany), a 30-year-old single lawyer whose greatest desire is to succeed in her profession. But there is a “small” detail: she is related to Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), also known as the Incredible Hulk.
Now, she must juggle her career as an expert in superhuman legal cases with her own super-powered, seven-foot-tall version.
The first season of She-Hulk: Defender of Heroes is broadcast on the Disney + digital platform, and on October 13 this series reaches its final episode.
