The Batman not only impacted audiences in 2022, its special effects, sound and makeup are already on the radar of the 2023 Oscars
One of the most anticipated events year after year is the delivery of the Oscars, where the best films throughout the year show the arguments to get the statuette, and in the 2023 edition The Batman could be present in three categories.

This Wednesday the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences released the list of films nominated for 10 categories, and the Matt Reeves film has three pre-nominations for the 2023 Oscars.
The Batman is considered in the categories of best sound and best special effects, and competes with films like Top Gun, Fantastic Beast 3 and Amsterdam, among others.

While the third category in which The Batman is considered is Best Makeup and Hairstyle, thanks to the work of the team headed by Kat Ali, who was in charge of transforming Colin Farrell into Oswald Cobblepot, better known as Penguin.
“It took maybe three and a half hours, but I can say it’s the most exciting challenge I’ve had making movies in 20 years.Farrell stated in the video.
The nominees for the different Oscar categories will be announced on January 24, while the awards ceremony will take place on March 12 at the Dolby Theater.
The Batman is now available through digital video stores and the HBO Max digital platform.
