In mid-2021, Netflix premiered ‘Bo Burnham: Inside’, Bo Burnham’s comedy special (‘A Promising Girl’) recorded during confinement. A year later, it looks like viewers will get to see more of the hit project.

Via social networks, Burnham announced that he had been the last two months editing the unpublished footage of that special and that he would post it on his YouTube channel so that fans could take a look at it.

‘Bo Burnham: Inside’ was written and directed by Bo Burnham (in addition to edited, musicalized and interpreted) and recorded entirely at his home in Los Angeles. In this audiovisual piece, Burnham performed various performances and talked about all kinds of topics, from mental health to climate change and various social movements.
The project won several Emmys: Best Direction and Best Screenplay in a Variety Program and Best Musical Direction. She also won a grammys for Best Song Written for Visual Media with ‘All Eyes on Me’ and was the first comedy song to chart on Billboard Global 200.
These new clips are titled ‘The Inside Outtakes’ and amount to a total of 63 minutes of previously unreleased material. Perfect for all those who enjoyed ‘Bo Burnham: Inside’ and were left wanting more.
