We were about to arrive, and the anime has finally reached the Final Act of the manga of Kohei Horikoshi. We still have a lot of history ahead of us and a few chapters of this sixth season of ‘Boku no Hero Academia’, but without a doubt we have entered one of the most interesting plots, especially for Midoriya.
Warning, this article may contain spoilers about the sixth season of ‘Boku no Hero Academia’!
The last arc, but with no immediate end
This does not mean that the anime is about to end at all, because Horikoshi has been working on this last arc of the manga since 2021 and between the fact that he is taking some breaks for his health and that the story has gotten out of hand, the manga of ‘Boku no Hero Academia’ has not yet concluded.
And since the anime is faithfully adapting the source material with seasons, hopefully it will take its time to properly adapt the outcome of the story and not make up its own ending.
The first half of the sixth season has focused on the Paranormal Liberation War Arc, which hasn’t left the heroes looking too good off their feet and has led us to the Fugitives from Tartarus Arc which we have just entered.

This part of the story has also been dubbed the “Dark Deku Arc” by fans.As Midoriya leaves UA, he takes on a slightly darker vigilante look and begins acting at his own risk to catch the escaped villains. Already in the most recent trailer of the anime you can see a preview of this new bow for Deku, who also begins to use his powers at full throttle.
Taking into account the manga material, the story is not going to close at all in this sixth season, which still has a few chapters to go. so now we can practically take it for granted that the seventh season of the anime is underwayand maybe even have to go to an eighth depending on how the ‘Boku no Hero Academia’ manga ends.
