Nier Automata Ver 1.1a, the anime based on Nier Automata, will premiere in January 2023. Platinumgames and Square Enix game creator Yoko Taro confirmed this during the Aniplex Online Fest event, as well as presenting the trailers.
The creative also anticipated that the story of the anime will be different from that of the video game: “Nier: Automata was a story that we created for a game, so copying it as it is would not make an interesting story for an anime.”
According to the official description of the anime NieR: Automata Ver1. 1A, the series is set “in a distant future where humanity has been defeated by the overwhelming force of alien mechanical lifeforms. 2B and 9S, belonging to the new YoRHa android unit… will launch into a fierce battle to recapture Earth.”

DC Modern Classics – Injustice: Gods Among Us, Year 1 Vol. 1
A mad god. And the heroes who try to fix it.
Superman was Earth’s greatest hero. He represented the shining beacon of truth, justice and the American way of life. Always an inspiration for a better future, the Man of Tomorrow made the world want to be better. And suddenly, everything changed in a single day.
When the Man of Steel couldn’t protect those he loved the most, he decided that being a hero wasn’t enough. To truly save this world, he would have to abandon his Great Blue Boy Scout philosophy and become the ruler humanity needed, or so he believed.
With his almighty allies—Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, and even Robin—Superman’s reign has begun. World conflicts are over and criminals are ruthlessly detained.
Facing a god among men, only one person stands between Superman and the ultimate power: the Dark Knight. Batman is assembling an alliance of heroes willing to risk his life to oppose this omnipotent dictatorship. He will use every method at his disposal to prevent his friend from reshaping the world in his image… Whatever it takes, Superman’s dominance cannot be maintained.
