Just a few days after being released in theaters, the movie ‘The Little Mermaid’ has already given a lot to talk about; and although the opinions had been limited to emerging from Internet users, the Mexican actress Thalia joined the conversation with an interesting review. Here we tell you what he said!
The interpreter of “Amor a la mexicana” published an unexpected video in which He stated that the film starring actress Halle Bailey is inspired by one of her scenes in the soap opera “Marimar”.released in 2004.
The audiovisual shared from his Instagram account showed two scenes, one from the Mexican melodrama with another from the new Disney production, with the caption: “Marimar and the Little Mermaid, same DNA,” he wrote.
And it is that in both images the protagonist can be seen throwing herself on her adversary, accusing him of wanting to take away her love. For ‘Ariel’ this is about ‘Prince Erick’, while for ‘Marimar’ we are talking about the character played by Eduardo Capetillo.
However, this was not his only publication in this regard, since from Tik Tok he resumed a video in which he appears performing the song “Under the Sea”, characterized as a little mermaid, with a suit similar to the one Ariel wears in the animated film by 1989.
“Thalía did the first live action of the Little Mermaid”, is the message that accompanies the short clip and that, just a few hours after it came to light, gave a lot to talk about.
This unexpected “criticism” did not take long to cause a stir on social networks, attracting the reactions of her fans and even one or another personality from the artistic environment, including Aislinn Derbez, Carmen Villalobos and her niece, Camila Sodi.
