One more night of audience war, in which not always having the share leadership is good news. Despite the fact that La isla de las tentaciones became the leader in audiences (something that Telecinco has not achieved much lately) it also he signed his least seen gala in the history of the program.
Another record low
Given the disastrous audience numbers that Telecinco drags every week (and the losing streak comes from afar), we might think that the leadership every Thursday of The Island of Temptations is to be found with a song in the teeth. The reality show was the most watched prime timewith a 13 of Compartir and 1,342,000 viewers.
A figure that is not to launch rockets, precisely. This season of the program is reaching an all-time low after another, this being the eighth gala the one that has achieved the worst audience results in its entire career.
Nor is the situation more favorable when compared to its competitors last night: ‘El Peliculón’ was on his heels with ‘Assault on Paris’ and its 12.6% and 1,106,000 viewers (which, in fact, led the late night) and a little before it started ‘The Anthill’ with 17% and 2,399,000 seeing the visit of Rozalén.
For its part, the interview with Pedro Sánchez in ‘Al Rojo Vivo’ could only gather 6% and 841,000 and ‘Incredible Duos’ in La 1 improved its figures compared to last week (8.4% and 850,000).
A leadership that tastes bitter and that should be raising all the alarms of Telecinco. The chain has clung to reality like a straw but, if the trend continues in the doldrums, they should take action on the matter to not end with a quota as derisory as ‘The debate of temptations’.
