Something incredible is going to happen with Spider-Man at Marvel, because they will soon reveal a project that will bring together a lot of talent.
From Marvelthey just released a poster listing all the comic book legends that will be involved in a new story of spider-man. Expectations cannot be higher because they bring together Neil Gaiman, Jonathan Hickman, Armando Iannucci, Dan Slott, Ho Che Anderson, Kurt Busiek, Anthony Falcone, Rainbow Rowell, Jim Cheung, Olivier Coipel, Michael Cho, and Terry Dodson. As we can read: “Get ready for something amazing”.
Many of these comic book superstars have already worked with the character.
Jonathan Hickman is responsible for bringing Miles Morales and Peter Parker together in the Secret Wars event, Dan Slott joined The Amazing Spider-Man in 2008 and then became the sole writer for the series in 2010. Kurt Busiek is responsible for 1997’s Untold Tales of Spider-Man, while Terry Dodson teamed up with Mark Millar for a twelve-issue Marvel arc in 2004. Not forgetting that Jim Chung he recently created a variant cover for the character’s relaunch.
While Neil Gaman (Sandman), wrote Marvel 1602. A story that takes place in the time of Queen Elizabeth I of England. At that time, Europe is experiencing major catastrophes such as storms, earthquakes and skies dyed red. So the heroes must investigate what is happening, including Sir Nicholas Fury, Stephen Strange, Matthew Murdoch, Peter Parquagh / Spider-Man, Carlos Javier, The Grand Inquisitor, the born-witches (Jean Grey, Scottius, Henry Mccoy, Robert Louis “Bobby” Drake and Angel), The Fantastick Four, Count Otto Von Death, Natasha, David Banner, The Ancient One, and Rojhaz. It was a great sales success and that is why it had several more sequels.
What will be this great surprise that Marvel prepares for us about Spider-Man? We’ll find out in August.
