Known for being very direct in his opinions, the British singer Liam Gallagher did not hesitate to criticize the musical festival of coachella which currently takes place in Indio, California. It was all during a recent conversation he had with his fans in Twitter and that immediately generated controversy.
When a fan of the former leader of the band Oasis expressed his displeasure at the recent performance of the rappers Frank Ocean at the event, asking Gallagher to come “to show him how it’s done,” Gallagher promptly wrote the phrase “pathetic fest.”
The truth is that Oasis did perform on April 28, 2002 at Coachellabut Liam apparently didn’t want to admit that he had given that concert, and when another fan reminded him that the band was there, he wrote: “You would never find me in an establishment like that.” This year’s festival continues until April 23, with performances by artists and groups such as Gorillaz, Rosalía, Becky G and Björk, among others.
