A man associated with various franchises
“I want to do more adult stuff in the future. I think Mission: Impossible, for example, is a very adult franchise. I also think it’s a franchise that is geared less towards teenagers than older people. Either way, I want to do something more dramatic. I’m in no rush to join Marvel Studios or anything like that. I feel like I want to be a little more free. You commit to these kinds of sagas and then you’re tied to them for years. And that can become a bit restrictive.”
In terms of being tied to certain franchises for years, Simon Pegg speaks from experience. He first played benji dunn in Mission Impossible 3 (2006), before starring alongside Tom Cruise the sequels of this saga. He also co-wrote Star Trek: Beyond (2016) and could continue pending updates about star trek 4. Furthermore, his work as a voice actor has also tied him to other projects.
