Weddings are always unforgettable, but none will compare to that of Roger and Mariana, who, together with their more than 200 guests, ended up in the hospital due to poisoning from contaminated water and ice.
The liquid and ice were served by the Sheraton Ambassador hotel, located in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico, the place where the wedding took place on November 26.
Those affected mentioned that hours after the party they began to present dizziness, vomiting, diarrhea, chills and body pain. The symptoms became so severe that they went to the nearest hospital for immediate treatment.
After a series of analyzes, it was determined that both the couple and the affected attendees had different viruses and bacteria from the consumption of contaminated water and ice.
The couple went to the hotel hoping that they would take responsibility for the medical expenses incurred, but not having a positive response, they went to the Ministry of Health asking that their case be intervened.
For their part, authorities from the Ministry of Health reported that after receiving the pertinent complaint, the temporary suspension of hotel services was made.
