The DC Universe in film and television continues to consolidate and a character who appeared in the first season of Peacemaker will make his return in Shazam! two
Shazam!: Fury of the Gods will hit the big screen in December, and with it the DC Extended Universe will continue to expand, and what better way than to bring back a character we met in the Peacemaker series.
Don’t miss out: hold on! Here is the first trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods
Let us remember that the Shazam saga is located within the same universe that began to be built in 2013, with the premiere of Man of Steel, directed by Zack Snyder.
Even the Justice League characters have a brief appearance in the final episode of Peacemaker, the series that emerges from The Suicide Squad, written and directed (in several chapters) by James Gunn.
In the first trailer for the second Shazam film, many eagle-eyed fans saw the presence of one of the characters that appeared in Peacemaker.

Given this doubt, the same director David F. Sandberg confirmed that the actor Rizwan Manji, who plays Jamil, will be present in the second film of Shazam.
Yes that’s Rizwan. Peter Safran recommended him for a part after working with him on Peacemaker. I said “but that’s the same universe”. He said “he’s barely in Peacemaker”. Little did I know Rizwan is even dancing in the credits! Could be same character 🤷♂️ Never named in Shazam 2 https://t.co/50rh5l76xo

Manji himself confirmed on his Instagram account his appearance in Shazam!: Fury of the Gods, although he did not specify what he will do in the film.
