The history
The question remains as to whether in ‘Elite’ they will choose to start almost from scratch or if the events at the end of season 6 will impact what is to come. This possibility should not be ruled out, since in the sixth several open fronts from the fifth were recovered. Also, it would be very rare for that violent cliffhanger with which the previous installment comes to an end to be left hanging…
When does season 7 of ‘Elite’ premiere?
Netflix has not yet announced when we will be able to see the seventh season, but the filming of the new episodes began at the end of October of this year, so everything points to a premiere in 2023. The big question is knowing the exact date.
Cast and protagonists

At the moment, only the return of two interpreters who participated in previous installments of the series has been confirmed. The most striking return is that of Omar Ayusoone of the original protagonists of the series, but it is not convenient to leave aside the return of Nadia Al-Saidi as Sonia, a character first introduced in season six.
In addition, the Netflix series has already announced several signings, shining with its own light that of Maribel Verdú, double winner of the Goya for her performances in ‘Seven tables of French billiards’ and ‘Snow White’. They are also added to the seventh season of ‘Elite’ mirela balic (‘Sluts’), Fernando Lindez (‘SKAM’), Gleb Abrosimov, Ivan Mendes (‘I am alive’) and Alejandro Albarracin (‘Land of wolves’).
Same showrunners, different directors

Carlos Montero and Jaime Vaca They remain one more year at the helm of the series. The first has been since its inception, since he is one of the creators of ‘Elite’, while Vaca has participated since the second installment, but it was in the fourth when he became one of the showrunners, thus filling the void left by Dario Madronawho opted for new challenges.
Where there is a total renewal is behind the scenes, since the seventh season will have the participation of the directors Linen Ladder (‘High seas’), Menna Fité (‘Welcome to Eden’), Roger Gual (‘Fanatic’) and Ana Vazquez (‘Foxes’).
