Three decades away from the premiere of Spider-Man 3, Sam Raimi finally explains the intention of including Peter Parker’s dance scene in this film
One of the most remembered moments (we don’t know if for better or worse) in the history of Spider-Man in the cinema is Peter Parker’s dance in Spider-Man 3, a film directed by Sam Raimi, a scene that amused millions of people in the world.

15 years after the premiere of Spider-Man 3, Sam Raimi finally broke the silence and spoke to the Fandom portal about Peter Parker’s dance scene, which to this day is a topic of conversation among fans.
“Well, we wanted it to be fun, actually. It was Peter Parker’s version, this strange boy, of what it must be like to be his evil self. But he is so lost. He’s so out of it, that’s his way of dealing with it. And that was not well received by the audience. But that’s what we were trying to do”.
One of the facts that surprised Sam Raimi, who has recognized that there were many mistakes in Spider-Man 3, is the fans’ liking for this scene, which has even gone viral on networks.
“So I’m not surprised that people… I’m glad people find it funny! we wanted it to be fun”.
15 years after the premiere of Spider-Man 3, Sam Raimi returned to work with Marvel Studios in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, tape number 28 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
