We hadn’t heard from Ron Howard for a couple of years, since the premiere of his double Oscar nomination ‘Hillbilly, a rural elegy’, but today it’s time to celebrate the return of one of the great craftsmen of Hollywood with the trailer for his new film, which will premiere on Amazon Prime Video under the title of ‘thirteen lives’.

The film takes as its starting point the mediatic rescue operation that was organized in the cave of Tham Luang of Thailand to save a group of twelve children trapped after a storm unexpectedly raised the water levels, and finds its great claim, in addition to the name of its maximum responsible, in a stellar cast.
At Howard’s command we find an assortment of names of the highest level, among which are Viggo Mortensen, Colin Farrell, Joel Edgerton, Tom Bateman or Paul Gleeson; who will play the roles written by screenwriter William Nicholson, nominated for an Oscar for his scripts for ‘Gladiator’ and ‘Twilight Lands’.
